Some sections will have specific Rules to follow. Please read STICKY post, if applicable, for those rules.

General Rules for Bearville Daily!

1. Please do not post in the color RED (or any color that resembles red), it is reserved for staff edits. (avoid hard to read colors as well)
2. You must follow ALL rules set forth. These rules are in place to protect our Bearville Daily Community members!
3. Disrespect of Staff will not be tolerated. You will receive one warning via PM.
4. Please be respectable to everyone on Bearville Daily. We want everyone to enjoy themselves while visiting our Community!
5. Please do not use all caps as it may appear that you are yelling/shouting.
6. Your username can NOT be changed so choose wisely. We suggest using your Bearville username.
7. ONLY ONE Bearville Daily account per person. Multiple accounts will result in ALL of your accounts being banned, no exceptions. THAT MEANS NO sharing of any passwords and/or BDF accounts.
8. NO talk of other forums, blogs, websites. Even BABV related forums/blog that belong to you. NO EXCEPTIONS!
9. NO ADVERTISING of any kind with the exception of Avvie and/or Siggy shops and those Shops must be located on Bearville Daily's Forum. NO EXCEPTIONS!
10. YOU MAY share first names only, no last names.
11. NO asking for ANY personal information including, but not limited to: contact information, full real name, city or age.
12. DO NOT post your age. This includes your grade, school level (primary, middle, high, etc.) or birth year.
13. NO pictures of any children under the age of 18 anywhere on the forum.
14. NO posting foul language/curse words (or words related to curse words), no offensive, obscene material and/or pornography.
15. NO Double Posting (DP) allowed whatsoever.
16. Post English language only.
17. NO links to outside websites of any kind.
18. NO chain messages/posts allowed.
19. Stay on topic! = NO Hi-jacking threads!
20. NO Bragging about your items!! This is very disrespectful and conceited!!
21. NO cheating. We want a fun, safe, ethical community!
22. NO Talking about religion, race, weight or any other touchy subjects on Bearville Daily!
23. NO inappropriate talk of any kind, including dating, weddings or playing family on Bearville. This can be a touchy subject, so avoid this talk to avoid probable issues while visiting Bearville Daily.
24. YOU are responsible for your own account. When you are away from BD, PLEASE LOG OFF. If someone gets on your account while you are away from your computer and posts harmful material, either on the forum or chat, YOU are responsible for those messages and will have to deal with the consequences of the actions that occurred on your account, up to and including being banned! NO EXCEPTIONS!
25. NO BEGGING! Either for Codes, Accounts, Items, Bear Bills, etc...
26. When you are having a party, fashion show, photoshoot
or any other social gathering, discuss them in the correct sections and
NOT in chat! ALL PARTIES posted or parties with invites given via PMs MUST be approved by an Admin (Princess or Slow) We have had 2 issues so as of 8/1/2010 all parties must be approved! NO EXCEPTIONS!
27. NO ASKING TO BE STAFF. ALL REQUESTS WILL BE DENIED AND IGNORED! When positions are available and Bearville Daily is accepting applications, everyone will be told and an application will be posted for you to fill out and hand in!
28. NO asking to borrow items on Bearville Daily.
29. NO TRADE TALK OUTSIDE THE [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - THIS INCLUDES TRADING ITEMS, SWAPPING ITEMS, YARD SALES or ANY ITEMS FOR SALE SUCH AS ITEMS FOR EVENTS YOU HOST ON BABV. This also includes not discussing trades via PM and/or VM.
30. Avatars & Signature Size - Please be considerate to those who have Dial-Up or have a Slow internet connection. Please see specific sizes below:

Signature Images (siggys) - May be NO larger 500 x 250
Avatar Images (avvies) - May be NO larger than 150 x 200

Any Avatars and/or signatures larger than the sizes listed above will be removed without warning.

31. This forum is not a place for you to come and ask how to set up your own site. We have learned by reading and suggest you do the same. Questions on how to do this or that regarding setting up a forum will not be tolerated. If you ask in chat you will be banned, If you ask in a PM your PM privileges will be taken away. We are not experts on how to set up a forum, we had to learn like everyone else does who sets up a forum. So Do You.

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY STAFF IS TO ENFORCE THE RULES ON THIS FORUM. IF YOU ARE NOT A STAFF MEMBER, YOU ARE NOT TO ENFORCE RULES**! PLEASE REPORT THE POST/THREAD IN QUESTION BY PM'ING AN ADMIN OR PRESSING THE "REPORT POST" BUTTON. NO EXCEPTIONS!

**If there are no staff members available at all, it is okay to guide members and/or suggest they do something in a way that is not against the rules.

Breach of these rules may result in your post either being edited or removed depending on the circumstances.


Breaking the following rules will result in these:

1st time - warning via PM from an Admin/Mod

3rd time - banned for 10 days

4th time - banned for a month (30 days)

Special Chatbox Rules:

Please note: As of 7/22/2010, The Chatbox will be closed during rest hours. These hours are usually from aprox. 1:00 am EST - 8:00 am EST. Times may vary.

4. When directing someone to Read & Agree to the RULES, Please DO not refer them to the thread to sign/agree to them. Refer them to the thread to READ them. If they actually read the rules, they will see the link that takes them to the thread that asks them to agree to the rules.
5. NO TRADE TALK in the chatbox at any time!
6. NO posting links in the chatbox. If someone needs to find a specific area, please direct them where to look and how to get there. We need members to be familiar with the forum and this includes searching for things rather than asking where to look for every single section they wish to look at.
7. When contests are active, Please keep all questions regarding that contest in the correct section and NOT in chat!

10. No throws, kicks and/or punches as it symbolizes aggression and abuse, which is not tolerated here..




Anyone who breaks these rules will be redirected to the Rules section and can and will be kicked from chat if you fail to follow these rules. If you agree to the rules and still continue to break them, you will be banned from chat. Above the Chat Box rules you can see the length of time in which you will be banned.

A double post is two posts in a row that can be made into one post, but
the person decides to post it in two separate posts. The posts have to
have a common element though, if not it is just rambling OR Double
(meaning two) posting is two posts in a row. Two posts in a row that may
or may not have the same meanings. Complete disregard for the edit button.

This goes for Chatbox as well!
